Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Sloted at sloted.co (the “Service”), operated by The Ron Labs ABN 18 896 790 839, a sole trader based in New South Wales, Australia (“Sloted”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating a schedule request, responding to one, creating an account, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
If anything here is unclear, contact us at support@sloted.co.
1. The Service
Sloted helps groups find a suitable time to meet.
An organiser creates a schedule request and shares it with participants. Participants can provide their availability by:
- Selecting time slots directly using free, busy, or “if needed”
- Typing a plain-language description of their availability for conversion into suggested grid entries
- Connecting Google Calendar so Sloted can retrieve relevant free/busy information
“If needed” means a participant would prefer to avoid a time but could make it work if necessary.
Plain-language availability is processed by our AI provider and is shown back to the participant for confirmation or editing before it is submitted.
Sloted ranks overlapping times based on the availability provided. The ranking may also take into account participants that the organiser has marked as “must-have”. Rankings and suggested times are provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect every real-world constraint, conflict, or preference relevant to the meeting.
The organiser reviews the results and decides whether to finalise a meeting time.
If a meeting is finalised, participants who provided an email address may receive a confirmation and downloadable calendar file.
Participants who did not provide an email address may need to be contacted directly by the organiser.
If a meeting is later un-finalised or cancelled, Sloted may notify participants whose email addresses are available.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Sloted, including to create or respond to a schedule request.
You do not need an account to respond to a schedule request.
An account is optional for organisers and can be used to sign in and manage requests they have created.
Sign-in may be provided through Google or through a one-time email link.
Accounts are for individual use.
You must not:
- Share access to your account with another person
- Access another person’s account without permission
- Create an account on someone else’s behalf without their knowledge or authorisation
You are responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect access to your account and any private organiser or participant links provided to you.
You are also responsible for activity conducted through your account and through the private organiser, participant, schedule request, and edit links issued to you, except to the extent caused by our failure to implement reasonable security measures required under applicable law. We may disable or rotate a link, suspend access, or require re-authentication where reasonably necessary to protect the Service or its users.
3. Availability information and AI parsing
Plain-language availability parsing is provided as a convenience.
AI-generated parsing may be inaccurate.
Before plain-language availability is submitted, Sloted gives the participant an opportunity to review, confirm, or edit the proposed result.
Any AI-generated parsing, availability conversion, or suggested result is provided for informational and convenience purposes only. It may be incomplete, inaccurate, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances, and should not be relied on without your own review.
You are responsible for checking that your availability is correct before submitting or confirming it.
4. Calendar connections
If you connect Google Calendar, Sloted requests read-only access to the information needed to determine whether relevant times are free or busy.
Sloted does not access Google Calendar event titles, descriptions, attendees, or locations through this feature.
You can disconnect Google Calendar through Sloted or through your Google account permissions.
Connecting a calendar does not allow Sloted to create, modify, or delete events in your Google Calendar.
Calendar and other third-party integrations depend on services, permissions, and technical systems that are outside our control. Free/busy information may be delayed, incomplete, stale, unavailable, or affected by permission changes, outages, throttling, or revocations. You are responsible for maintaining valid third-party authorisations and for independently checking final meeting details.
See our Privacy Policy for more information about how calendar information is handled.
5. Finalising a meeting
Sloted does not independently choose or confirm a meeting time.
The organiser decides whether to finalise a time after reviewing the results.
Once a time is finalised, Sloted may send a downloadable calendar file to participants who have provided an email address.
Sloted does not currently write the meeting directly into a participant’s connected calendar.
The organiser is responsible for contacting participants who cannot be notified through Sloted.
This may include participants who have not provided an email address.
If no suitable time exists within the availability provided, Sloted cannot guarantee that a suitable meeting time will be found.
6. Fees
Sloted is currently free to use and does not process payments.
We may introduce paid features in the future.
If we do, we will provide information about applicable pricing and terms before a user is charged.
Existing users will not be charged for a new paid feature unless they choose or otherwise validly agree to use a service for which payment is required.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use Sloted to send spam, phishing messages, malicious links, or unsolicited communications
- Scrape or systematically extract information from the Service beyond ordinary use, except where permitted by applicable law
- Reverse-engineer the Service except to the extent permitted by applicable law

- Access another organiser’s or participant’s information without authorisation
- Use or share an organiser, participant, schedule request, or edit link in a way that gives someone unauthorised access to another person’s information

- Impersonate another person
- Provide information in a deliberately misleading way where doing so may harm another person or interfere with the Service
- Use the Service for an unlawful purpose

These terms do not transfer ownership of that intellectual property to you.
You may use the Service and its interface only as reasonably necessary to use Sloted for its intended purpose.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Sloted, such as schedule titles and availability text.
You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, process, reproduce, and use that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the Service.
This licence ends when the relevant content is deleted from our systems, except where limited copies need to remain temporarily in backups or where retention is required by law.

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
By using Sloted, you acknowledge that information may be processed by the service providers described in that policy where necessary to provide the Service.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service or particular features for legitimate operational, security, legal, or business reasons.
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide affected account holders with advance notice of a material discontinuation.

Sloted relies on third-party services to provide some features.
These may include Google, OpenAI, Resend, Vercel, and other infrastructure or service providers described in our Privacy Policy.
Third-party services may occasionally be unavailable or may change their own services, policies, or technical requirements. Service functionality may also be affected by outages, throttling, permission revocations, account setting changes, or other technical constraints imposed by a third-party provider.
We are not responsible for the independent operation of a third-party service, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect:
- Changes to Sloted
- New or changed features
- Changes to applicable law
- Security requirements
- Operational requirements
- Changes to the third-party services on which Sloted relies
When we update the terms, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify affected account holders before or when the updated terms take effect.
Changes will apply prospectively.
If you do not agree to updated terms, you may stop using the Service.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and any courts entitled to hear appeals from them.
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have under applicable consumer protection law to bring a claim in another jurisdiction.

The remaining terms will continue to apply.
